The comedian and media producer performs tonight at 3rd Place Neighborhood Grill at 7:30 p.m. His full schedule is here

When you put your key in the ignition and turn on the radio, what station would play right now? Mix 96.9-FM or 96.3-FM Real Country.

What's the first album you bought? The Very Best of Electric Light Orchestra. It was $3.99 at Musicland, and it was a double album and came with a cardboard spaceship. I was 8.

What's the first concert you saw? I accidentally saw the Osmonds at the Arizona State Fair in the early 80's. They were in their "country" phase. Little brother Jimmy came out and sang "Eye of the Tiger". Even at 12, I knew it was time to leave -- quickly!

What's your favorite concert you've ever been to? Van Halen, 2008 -- the return of David Lee Roth. I never got to see them in their prime, but promised myself I would see them if Roth ever came back.

What's the last song played on your music player? The Venture's "Wipe Out."

Preferred format: CD, vinyl, cassette, 8-Track or digital? 8-track, because I love it when a song is interrupted with loud clicks and a short pause. "I can't get no satis..." -- click-click --"...faction, but I try..."

What's your favorite album? Roy Orbison and Friends, A Black and White Night. Amazing! Kiss, Kiss Unplugged. Johnny Cash, Boom Chicka Boom.

Who is your favorite singer or band? Everyone mentioned above (except the Osmonds) along with Dean Martin, The Beatles, Waylon Jennings, Traveling Wilburys, Def Leppard and Rick Springfield (I wish I were kidding).

Does you computer track how many times you've played something -- if so, what's at the top of the list? "She's So High," by Tal Bachman.

What was your favorite new or new-to-you album from 2011? Tinted Windows, Tinted Windows.

What one song would you play if you had a world-wide radio audience? The theme song from Blossom because it's short and relevant like Blossom!

Who is your favorite local artist? Walkin' Cane Mark, my personal Blues Brother. Jim Bachmann, my favorite new long distant relative. Synaptic Soul -- it's a long story!

What is your favorite local venue to see music? Skye in Peoria.

What is your favorite music video? Right now I'm lovin' me some Tenacious D, "Rize of the Fenix."
