If you've ever wanted to witness the diversity of the Valley's hip-hop crowd, check out a rap gig at the Big Fish Pub on any given weekend.

You're likely to see a varied assortment of both dudes and dames checking out cyphers spitting fresh rhymes on the microphone, whether its tattooed metalheads, Mohawked punkers, or Latina chicas.

Such was the case this past weekend when southern rap star Lil Flip paid a visit to the club for back-to-back gigs on Friday, May 10, and Saturday, May 11.

The hip-hop artist was just as vibrant as the crowd that was checking out his shizzle.

There were shorties in one corner shaking their moneymakers to the beat while dime pieces were drinking down shots at the bar. Outside on the Big Fish's smoking patio, smoking hot ladies engaged in joke-filled conversations with dreadlocked members of backpack hip-hop fandom.

Meanwhile, the equally colorful members of West Valley rap-rock group Property Six also performed and even conducted a prayer circle in the parking lot before their gig. No joke. Heavenly Father must be a fan of the band, since their performance was off-the-hook.
