Jack White, Beck, Bon Iver, Pretty Lights and Tenacious D will be headlining Sasquatch! Music Festival this year.
Kudos to the good people of Sasquatch for digging Beck out of the grave. Hopefully this means he's finally got some new material. Beirut, Girl Talk, The Roots, The Head and the Heart, Portlandia (yes, Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein), Feist, Silversun Pickups, Metric, and Explosions in the Sky are in the mix too, among others. The full lineup can be found here.
Fun. seem to be the only (sort of) Arizonans on the artist roster, but at least we're represented. Considering the rest of the lineup, it could definitely be worth the trip, especially for those who didn't manage to snag tickets to either weekend of Coachella. After all, some of Coachella's lineup is the same as that of Sasquatch, so there's no reason to be bummed about not seeing a band on the Empire Polo Grounds when you could see them at the always beautiful Gorge Amphitheater instead.
Keep the seven band rule in mind when deciding whether or not to go, but make your decision soon. Four-day festival passes go on sale Saturday, February 11 at 10 a.m. PST.
