Curse of the Pink Hearse, Melted Cassettes, Yellow Minute, Paz de Cristo Benefit, and Hieroglyphics This Weekend
Apparently the folks at the uber-hip Sticky Fingers dance party got the memo: tonight the crew of resident DJs host spastic noise-makers Melted Cassettes, described by the crew as being akin to "Aphex Twin,Skinny Puppy or something you'd hear in a futuristic club on another planet."
DJ TrashTalk joins in the festivities, spinning along side the resident DJs at the popular Bar Smith affair.

Pete Thelen and the Blues Dinosaurs host the 20th Anniversary Benefit for the Paz de Cristo Outreach Center in Mesa at The Rhythm Room.
Thelen describes his latest record, Travels to the Edge, as something like "Delta Blues laid over the ethereal sounds of King Crimson or Trey Gunn."
