There are a lot of right ways and wrong ways to celebrate Thanksgiving. Right ways include spending quality time with your family; wrong ways include making out with your first cousin because you only see him once a year.

Here at Up On The Sun, we advocate all feelings of inner warmth and fuzziness felt on Thanksgiving.

Since we want you to make the best of your Turkey Day this year, we've put together a brief musical guide to help you through the do's and don't's of the season of giving.

"Kind and Generous," Natalie Merchant
Natalie's really got the holiday spirit, and she wants to "thank you, thank you." Man, she is appreciative. Someone get this chick into the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade so she can sing this song every year.

"Gimme More," Britney Spears
This track is a great example of what not to say to your loved ones this holiday season, unless you're talking about those bomb-ass mashed potatoes on the dinner table. Sidenote: when you step into your grandma's house for Thanksgiving dinner, you should probably avoid greeting your family by announcing your presence along the lines of "it's [your name], bitch."

"Give a Little Bit," Goo Goo Dolls
Let's hear it for John Rzeznik and the other guys whose names nobody knows! They know what giving is all about, and that's a gift in and of itself.

"I Won't Dance," Frank Sinatra
Cheer up, Frank! Negative attitudes don't fly during the holidays! Get on your dancing shoes and make your wife happy this winter, fellas. A woman appreciates it when their man dances more than they could ever say, especially if their guy hates to get on the floor because he has no moves.

"Somebody to Love," Justin Bieber feat. Usher
I can hardly say that neither Biebs nor Usher are any girl's perfect man, but according to this song, they sure know how to treat a girl right. Any excited 16-year-old Bieber fanatic would probably love to have a guy give her "all this attention" and watch him "play for ya," especially so they can have someone to snuggle up to during the holiday season.
