FBI Report Officially Classifies Juggalos a Hybrid Gang; Arizona Boasts "Strong Juggalo Presence"
Move over Mara Salvatrucha.Watch your backs Bloods and Crips. The rabidly loyal Insane Clown Posse fanbase otherwise known as Juggalos have earned the title of "hybrid gang" in the FBI's 2011 National Gang Threat Assessment.
The report states that, "many Juggalos subsets exhibit gang-like behavior and engage in criminal activity and violence."
Unfortunately for Juggalos, the classification of full-on gang was withheld because of their loose organization skills and transient like migratory patterns (also known as following the ICP).
Most crimes committed by Juggalos are sporadic, disorganized, individualistic, and often involve simple assault, personal drug use and possession, petty theft, and vandalism. However, open source reporting suggests that a small number of Juggalos are forming more organized subsets and engaging in more gang-like criminal activity, such as felony assaults, thefts, robberies, and drug sales.
According to the report Juggalos have the strongest presence in Arizona, California, Pennsylvania, Utah and Washington, where law enforcement officials are said to be tracking the most, "gang-related activity."
With this new found knowledge it shouldn't be long before Sheriff Joe puts together a task force aimed at squashing this new threat. After all nothing grabs attention like ICP in your headline. We're putting our money on Arpaio tapping none other than Charlie Sheen to be his special guest deputy in wrangling up these clown-faced perpetrators.
