​If you pick up a copy of this week's Phoenix New Times, be sure to check out this week's music feature on local hip-hop-infused pop band, The New F-O's. The guys have been making quite a name for themselves both in the Southwest club scene, as well as nationally with music placement on television shows such as Jersey Shore and Wilfred.

Up on the Sun has an exclusive New F-O's track called "Town," featuring Sam Bruno and Hannibal LEQ. The guys say the song was inspired about being a performance artist, and they hope the lyrics give listeners some insight into their musical careers.

Singer/rapper Pancho says, "It showcases life in the spotlight, both positive and negative, and how people look at you differently once they realize that the music we create is the same music they jam out to." Rapper Lifted stresses the song has an uplifting take-away, saying he hopes fans "stay positive through any situation and try to find the silver lining in anything and never quit or give up."
