The Raconteurs Are Back!

Now that he's got all that hilarious and awesome palling around with Stephen Colbert, out of his system, Jack White is getting back to business. The Raconteurs, arguably the dude's main gig now that The White Stripes have called it quits, are back, according to Consequence of Sound.

The Raconteurs have announced that they will be performing at the inaugural MI Fest in Brooklyn, Michigan on September 17.

The band, which consists of Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence of the Greenhornes and Dead Weather, and Patrick Keeler, has not yet revealed any information about any potential additional tour dates this year. This will be their first live show in two years.

Sheryl Crow will be co-headlining MI Fest. Crow and the Raconteurs will be joined by other Michigan-based artists, including Mitch Ryder, the Romantics, the Rockets, Ty Stone & the Truth, former Grand Funk Railroad frontman Mark Farner, and Alto Reed of Bob Seeger's Silver Bullet Band.
