Amy Winehouse Dead at 27, Cause Remains Unclear

While the cause of her death is currently unknown, it is suspected that she died of a drug overdose.
More recent reports are saying that Winehouse died from an ecstasy overdose, according to MTV producer Danny Panthaki. In other conflicting reports, her parents say that such a claim in "nonsense."
Furthermore, Amy could have been dead for up to six hours before her body was found.
Considering her well-known history of drug and alcohol abuse, Amy's death didn't even surprise her parents. "It was only a matter of time," her mother Janis said.
