U2 wants the stages used during their extensive 360 Tour to be recycled and become new permanent venues rather than going to waste
, according to Billboard.

The band is selling three of their four-legged structures that stand over the stage. They each take up 29,000 square feet.

Plans are currently being discussed "to send them into different places around the world and have them installed as permanent venues," U2 tour director Craig Evans said in a recent interview with Billboard.biz. "Some major events have shown interest in these, from four different continents, and we haven't even really put the word out yet."

U2's 360 Tour is the highest grossing tour in history, having brought in $700 million over a two-year span.
