One of the most awesome, hilarious, ridiculous hacking pranks has gone down. A group of hackers recently got into PBS' web system and posted an unusual story about deceased rapper Tupac Shakur
, according to Yahoo News
The hacker group, which calls itself Lulzsec and the Lulz Boat, posted a fake story on the PBS NewsHous page of the company's website saying that everyone's main man of the '90s, Tupac, is alive and well in New Zealand. They wrote and posted the article as an angry response to a Frontline series about WikiLeaks.
While I thought that it was hilariously clever because it was very obviously a prank, major fans of Tupac may have been offended and upset.
