Botha is also known as DJ Solarize. He's known for being a prominent visual artist in Cape Town, South Africa, as well. He appeared in South African hip-hop duo Die Antwoord's hit music video "Enter the Ninja," which is when he started getting noticed in America. He occasionally opened for Die Antwoord's shows with a DJ set.
Botha lived to be 26 years-old, making him one of the world's oldest people to withstand progeria. Progeria comes from a gene mutation and affects people in such a way that they appear to be aging at an abnormally premature, rapid rate. Rest in peace, Leon Botha. You were extremely talented, and you will be missed.
