Warped Tour 2011 - coming to a parking lot near you

Not a whole lot of new shows to announce this week, but at least there's a Warped Tour for that. The venerable punk rock tour is now in its 17th year, a rather impressive feat in this day and age. Bands such as NOFX, Poison The Well, Gym Class Heroes, Sublime, Flogging Molly and Andrew W.K. have graced the Warped Tour stage in years past.

2011 will mark the first time the Warped Tour will play the newly, rather unfortunately named Ashley HomeStore Pavilion. For those keeping track, that's the Vans Warped Tour 2011 at Ashley HomeStore Pavilion. As well, the tour rolls through Phoenix in early August and will take place, most likely, atop the Pavilion's asphalt parking lots. Asphalt. In August. In Phoenix.

Joining the Warped Tour with just announced shows of their own are Alison Krauss, Bill Callahan, David Bazan and Dirty Beaches.
