Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark director Julie Taymor has finally had enough of the Broadway show's complications and has chosen to step down from her position, according to Rolling Stone.

For the time being, Taymor will still be the director and co-writer of the show, but she will no longer be present for every show.

The buzz in the business is that she's been having a rough time taking criticism from the show's producers, which has led to them having a hard time working with her.

Bono and the Edge of U2 are said to be attempting to push the show towards a more typical style of a Broadway musical now that they are next in line to have full control of the show. New directors have been brought on board, which will certainly lead to a few notable changes. Additionally, the show's opening date is no longer set in stone, although the show is rumored to finally be officially opening this summer.
