It's the little moments like this that give hope that 2011 will be a much better year than 2010, and bringing home the hope is Chiacgo trio Smith Westerns. Their single "Weekend" from their forthcoming LP Dye It Blonde is my absolute favorite song right now -- so much so that I found 9 other songs just so I could put it in a post.
Oddly enough, two other bands in that very same post are among the just announced shows -- Yuck and Toro Y Moi.
