Hooves are one of six bands scheduled to perform tonight at Philthy Phil's.
If you missed out on last Thursday's action-packed memorial to the soon-to-be-shuttered Eastside Records, tonight provides one more opportunity to raise a toast in honor of the store.

A half-dozen local rock and punk bands will present a final farewell to Eastside this evening at CenPho dive bar Philthy Phil's (2939 North 16th Street, 602-279-4339). It's a safe bet that most of the musicians performing at the gig have dropped some serious coin at the Tempe vinyl emporium, as they'll be spinning up records they purchased at the store over the course of the night.

The lineup of live music offering a farewell salute includes Hooves, The Dead Eyes of London, Vinyl 45, Trash This Place, Godawfulnoise, and the Whorchatas.

The music starts at 8 p.m. and there's no cover. Drink specials will also be offered.
