Lollapalooza to Go International in Chile

Lollapalooza_2007.jpg
Lollapalooza has expanded to Chile, according to Billboard.

Perry Farrell's music festival will be going down at O'Higgins Park in Santiago, Chile for the first time on April 2 and 3, 2011. This will be the first time that Lollapalooza has ever gone international. Presumably Chile got the honor in part because the nation has gotten so much positive press about those miners. Kidding. Well, actually...

The classic Chicago version of the festival grossed over $17 million this summer. Will the South American version do as well as the good ol' original in Grant Park?

More importantly, I'm dying to know who we'll be missing out on seeing in Chile? A lineup has yet to be announced.
