Hung Dynast at Ice House Tavern

​It's not often you get to watch ice hockey the same time a rocking band performs, but that's exactly what you'll get at the Ice House Tavern this Friday, November 12 when Hung Dynasty takes the stage.

The bar's live music stage is attached to the Arcadia Ice Arena, and appropriately, this flier for the show depicts a rock-worthy skeleton in a hockey mask. HD's bassist Chris Burns designed the flier, with the band using an old hockey mask, a foam human skull and a strobe light for the photo.

"I hope the flier tells people we've got some creativity and a sense of humor," says guitarist Justin Schmid. "And that I like hockey!"

Schmid promises genuine enthusiasm from all of the bands on the line-up, which includes Graceful Degradation and The Relics.

"I think of this lineup as local versions of Judas Priest, Faith No More and The Stooges," Schmid says, adding, "Aside from the bands, the Ice House Tavern is an unbelievable local hangout. Where else can you hear some great local bands, watch amateur hockey players crash into each other and get a bottle of Dogfish Head?" Good point.
