Demi Lovato Checks Herself Into Treatment Center; Not For Drugs

Lovato felt that seeking help was important enough to drop her tour schedule. The 18-year-old was on tour with the Jonas Brothers. She's getting help with "emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time," her representative said.
Let it be clear: she's not having issues with drugs. However, she may have entered treatment for cutting and an eating disorder, both of which she has allegedly struggled with in the past, according to a source.
A spat with a female tour crew member was the final straw for Lovato before she made the decision to check herself into the treatment facility.
No matter what her issues are, I give her a lot of credit for not turning into another mess of a young pop star. She's been handling her career rather well thus far for a star her age, and she made another good move by choosing to seek help on her own as soon as she needed it. Props for restoring sanity to pop stars, Demi Lovato.
