Can $10 Million Buy a Weezer Breakup?

weezer.jpg
New-Weezer hater James Burns has offered Weezer $10 million to break up, according to Consequence of Sound.

Burns, who has been a fan of the band since the 90s, is hoping for $10 million in donations so he can bribe Weezer into never making songs like "Beverly Hills" ever again. The campaign has raised $136 already, but it seems as though collecting nearly $10 million more is a long way off. Wishful thinking never hurt anyone.

Frankly, I want to know why nobody has come up with ideas like this for other crummy bands. How come nobody offered Haddaway a nice sum of money to never release "What Is Love?"
