Wayne Coyne Makes Commemorative ACL Screen Print With His Own Blood

FlamingLipsScreenprint.jpg
The Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne made a poster using his own blood as ink, according to Consequence of Sound.

Wayne poured four vials of blood that he had drawn in early September into a cup, spilled his hemoglobin onto a screen print, and went to town on an Austin City Limits poster. A warning for the squeamish: skip past the first 10 seconds. The rest is not that bad.

I can't praise The Flaming Lips enough for the insane ideas they come up with. From the Dark Side of the Moon full length cover album they did in 2009 with Stardeath & White Dwarfs to the unbelievable performance they gave at Bonnaroo this summer, they've really got it goin' on. And I'm not into vampire stuff at all, but I've got to admit that's a pretty snazzy poster.
