Chris Brown and Tyga Drop the Hotness on "Deuces" with Kevin McCall
That being said: Brown's latest single, "Deuces," is a hot track. Who knows if he is talking about Rihanna in the song, but it's a bold move for Brown to come out with a scathing track against a toxic girl. He is asserting that even though he may have done wrong in the past, that doesn't mean he is deserving of wrath from a lady himself.
He sings: "You'll regret the day when I find another girl that knows just what I need, she knows just what I mean, when I tell her keep it drama-free." The rumor is that before Brown beat Rihanna up, she was jealous over texts from another girl on Chris' phone, so maybe this is the kind of drama Brown is speaking of.
He continues, "You make me wanna say bye-bye...I'm chuckin' my deuces up." Ignoring the possible context of the song, Brown makes an assertive statement that he isn't going to stay in an emotionally draining relationship but instead has the confidence to move on to something better.
Rapper Tyga unfortunately disses all females by rapping, "You know women lie," but it's likely he's just angry because his lady burned him so badly. He continues, "F*ck love, I'm tired of trying, my heart big, but it beat quiet." At least there is a little bit of sensitivity there under the anger.
While the overall tone of the song is tense and bitter, the hypnotic beat is impossible to get out of your head. It is also an anthem for guys (and girls) to get out of unhealthy partnerships and look forward to the future with someone they really vibe with. And that's a message anyone can get behind.
