YouTube Begins Live Streaming Trial

Today and tomorrow only, YouTube will partner with a group of companies to make a live broadcast schedule. Unfortunately the feature will be removed from the site once the trial is over, so be sure not to miss a moment of YouTube history.
Depending on how well it goes, live streaming could bring YouTube even more viewers than it already has. (But who's counting?) While sites like Ustream already provide this service, YouTube is going to try to give them a run for their money...lots of money.
In the past, YouTube has streamed a few festivals and concerts like some of the Outside Lands Festival, as well as U2's performance at the Rose Bowl, both in 2009. This could revolutionize the way concertgoers make up for not being able to get to a show. Get ready to possibly save a ton of money, kill the live music industry, and watch your new favorite band from your cubicle when you can't make it to the venue.
