Miniature Tigers' "The Wolf" Hits Theaters in 'Easy A'

Even if you are not a teenage girl or have no desire to see a movie that is basically a 2010 version of Mean Girls, you might want to check out the new teen comedy Easy A if only to support a formerly local band that is featured in the movie. Indie rock band Miniature Tigers, who used to call the Valley home but have since moved to New York, provide the backdrop early on in the film, with their song "The Wolf" scoring some screen time.

The track is mixed in with other indie artists such as Death Cab for Cutie and Rooney, along with a slew of pop artists including Natasha Bedingfield and Flo Rida. There won't be a soundtrack released with the film, but with the movie pulling in $18 million its first weekend out, it seems like the Mini-T's might be grabbing a bunch of new fans.
