Flier of the Week: Ladylike at Exit 7
| Brandon Kellum |
The answer might depend on just why the mustaches are heading to you in the first place. In the case of this flier, they're probably just beckoning the not-so-scared-looking man to come to the 'Stache Bash at Exit 7 this Friday, September 3.
Score a $3 discount to the concert, sponsored by Motion Management, by sporting a real or fake 'stache to the shindig, which could very well start to look like the set of a 70's porn movie.
"We try to do something unique and fun to make it more than just a local concert," says Motion Management CEO and flier designer Brandon Kellum. And to capture all the facial hair madness, there will be a roaming photographer snapping shots of all the fuzzy upper lips so you can relive your mustache mayhem again and again.
Besides what's sure to be a crazy spectacle, this show is also special because it's part of the re-launch of Exit 7 as a music venue. The bar is already known for its cheap drinks, pool tables, dart machines, arcade games and jukebox.
"We want everyone to feel part of building up a cool new place for musicians and music lovers on the West Side," Kellum says.
Ladylike, Doublespeak, Resident Peasant, A Meaning to Memorize and more perform at the 21-and-older show, which starts at 7 p.m. It's $6 to get in if your face is bare. Exit 7 is at 7941 W. Glendale Ave. in Glendale, and more info on the venue may be found here.
