Landmine Marathon Debuts New Video for "Shadows Fed to Tyrants"

How do you make a metalhead swoon? Play him the new video for "Shadows Fed to Tyrants" by Phoenix grindcore band Landmine Marathon. If you read my feature on the band last year, you probably didn't have to read between too many lines to figure out that I have a huge crush on lead screamer Grace Perry. (Hell, my ex-girlfriend used to jokingly refer to Grace as her "nemesis" -- I wish.) Thankfully, Perry gets plenty of face time in the new video, and she looks as stunning as always, even as she's getting tossed around in a mosh pit by a bunch of sweaty heshers.
The video, which was directed by David Brodsky and features the band performing in a house show-type setting, will be available for purchase on iTunes on July 13. Landmine Marathon is currently in the midst of a nationwide tour in support of their third album and Prosthetic Records debut, Sovereign Descent. The tour wraps up on July 31 at the Yucca Tap Room in Tempe, which is sure to be an insane show.
