This is, hands down, either the best or worst album cover of all time

One thing that Arizona does well -- perhaps better than any other state in the union -- is ~~strike fear in the heart of Mexican Americans~~ create a welcoming climate for retirees.

Save Florida, Arizona is a hotbed for the older generations on this earth, and this is hardly breaking news. I mention this because at any given week, there will be a show coming to town that caters to the Baby Boomers who are now just beginning to settle down and spend time with their grandkids. What better way to do so than to celebrate one of Yacht Rocks's greatest scions, the immeasurable Kenny Loggins?

Now some of you may say, "Slow down, friend, Loggins' music knows no generational bounds." To that I say yes. I am a huge Loggins fan myself and I just so happen to younger than 30. His November show at the Celebrity Theatre will reflect this phenomenon -- fans who grew up listening to his music, buying his albums on vinyl and fans whose parents listened to his music, imparting their wonderful music tastes on their children. The latter group of fans may or may not have J. D. Rynar and Hunter D. Stair -- the genius creators of Channel 101's Yacht Rock series -- to thank, as well.
