If you're craving a little vintageJimmy Eat World, you're in luck. The Arizona rock band has a vintage video on YouTube from a performance way back in the day, at the 1997 Mind Over Matter Fest in Detroit.
And if you happened to miss the band when it performed on the hip kids' show Yo Gabba Gabba!, there's a video floating around of a look at the band behind-the-scenes as they filmed a performance of "Beautiful Day" on -- wait for it -- flying dogs and cats. No kidding. Check out the '97 clip below, and read on for more of what's happening in the local music scene.
In honor of their current national "The Blast and the Furious" Tour with Oh Sleeper, PM Today, and I Am Alpha and Omega, Greeley Estates' vocalist Ryan Zimmerman got all did up in a smoking hot promo shot paying homage to the oh-so-excellent flick The Fast and the Furious. The band is also gearing up for a summer tour in Japan with August Burns Red, which kicks off June 17. Unfortunately, the group has no Arizona dates scheduled so far, so you might want to start saving up for Asia now.
The Maine had a busy weekend, playing New Jersey's The Bamboozle
Festival this weekend along with big names Ke$ha, Drake, and MGMT. They
posted this pic from the road and just announced that a new song,
"Inside of You," will be up for sale on iTunes today beginning at 9 a.m.
For those of you who don't want to stuff your face full of enchiladas on Cinco de Mayo, The Compound Grill announced a show by an artist whom John Mayer called the best live performer he's ever seen. He's talking about singer Martin Sexton, who will play the venue Wednesday, May 5 at 7 p.m. Sexton, who has nine albums under his belt, is currently promoting his latest album, Sugarcoating.

I always read the article on blogs ahead of when I leave a comment. If I have got zero to say about the write-up topic, I will never leave any wisecracks. And I like to read anyone else’s suggestions on that post too. Because I find interesting ideas with the nice comments. I'd have posted “Nice blog! Terrific posts!” then I would be spamming your blog. I too use a web site, first thing I'd personally do day-to-day when i signed up on my website is check out remarks to my threads and physically approve or reject these comments. Keywordluv not just brings you more commenters. It promotes your position in search engines mainly because you’re not merely on several “dofollow blog lists” but also on a variety of those “keywordluv lists”. Thanks, Susan
