The Beatles' Handwritten Lyrics: How Much Would You Pay for Them?

​Just when you thought every piece of Beatles' anything had been sold to the highest bidder... think again.

According to Rolling Stone, auction house Sotheby's will be putting up on the auction block none other than the John Lennon's handwritten lyrics to The Beatles' classic "A Day in the Life." While the estimated closing cost of the piece of paper is between $500,000 and $700,000, it's not expected to sell for more than $1 million like the handwritten lyrics to "All You Need Is Love" did.

The paper does gain some extra interest and value though because of what's written on the back. On the flipside there is a more revised version of the song, and even the spot where Lennon wanted McCartney to sing the, Woke up, got out of bed... bridge. I wonder how much John Lennon's toilet paper would sell for...
