Canadian Music Mag Names Transgender Man Sexiest in Canada

​Chart Attack readers named Lucas Silveira of Canadian rockers The Cliks, the "Throw Your Underwear Award." This makes him the first transgender man to win. He even beat out Avril Lavigne's ex, Sum 41 front man Deryck Whibley. Considering that the rock world is progressive, but still has stark lines on gender roles, this is a pretty exciting and groundbreaking event. And really, can you imagine it happening in the U.S.? Frankly, it'd be pretty difficult for a transgender musician to achieve such success in this country. Nice going, neighbors to the north. O Canada...
