Please, take your time to think about this important decision.
Life's full of tough choices.

Tonight, Valley art enthusiasts have their pick of the litter with three big events happening at three different museums across town: Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, ASU Art Museum and the Heard Museum.

Here's the run-down:

"Spring Opening Celebration" at SMoCA, 7-9 p.m.
Our lovely contributor, Wynter Holden, already wrote a fabulous piece about this event (click here). And if you choose this as your evening's activity, expect to see the "Chuck Close Prints: Process and Collaboration", "Rewind Remix Replay: Design, Music & Everyday Experience", and "Healing Expressions" exhibitions. Curators will be on-hand to discuss the shows and live music will be provided by elektrobahn. Free entry, folks.

SMoCA, 7374 East Second Street in Scottsdale, 480-874-4666, www.smoca.org.

"Spring Season Reception" at ASU Art Museum, 7-9 p.m.

Meanwhile, ASU is showing off three brand spanking new exhibitions. "Altered States: Paintings by Gordon Cheung from the Stephane Jannsen Collection", "Wanxin Zhang: A Ten Year Survey", and "Forged Power: Ferran Mendoza, Alvaro Sau and William Wylie" will serve as the visual stimuli as guests hit up this free event.

ASU Art Museum, 1001 South Mill Avenue in Tempe, 480-965-2787, asuartmuseum.asu.edu.

"NU (Native + You)" at the Heard Museum, 5:30-9 p.m.
Unlike the other two, this event happens every third Friday. But that really shouldn't stop you from checking it out tonight. Kade Twist and Keith Egawa, two contemporary Native American authors, will read from their latest works starting at 7 p.m. Not only is the event free, but you can peruse the museum without charge. Oh, and there is a no host bar. Glug, glug, glug.

Heard Museum, 2301 North Central Avenue in Phoenix, 602-252-8344, www.heard.org.
