Authority Zero is scheduled to perform tonight at Dirty Pretty in Scottsdale.
Although the PHX punk rock icons of Authority Zero have been consumed with work on their currently-untitled fourth studio album (which is promised for later in 2010), Jason DeVore and the rest of the Mesa foursome will take the evening off tonight for a special "Rhythm and Booze" acoustic set for a hometown crowd at Dirty Pretty in Scottsdale.

Taking the stage tonight with the band will be their original bassist Jeremy Wood, who rejoined Authority Zero this past fall after D.J. Farmer bowed out for "personal/creative differences." Given the relatively compact size of the Old Town nightspot, it's almost guaranteed that the show will be packed.

A host of local acts will also perform, including folksters Jake Dean and the Granting, acoustic pop artist Adam Shero, alt-rockers Sketching in Stereo, and the white boy reggae musicians of Another Day.

Pre-sale tickets are available for $10 through this site, with admission at the door going for $15. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Here's a look at one of Authority Zero's previous "Rhythm and Booze" sessions from this past November at Tempe's Club Red.
