Neil Hamburger's Advice to the Youth of Tempe in Video

Neil Hamburger has been referred to as "America's Funnyman," "the world's 'worst' stand-up comedian," and as having a sense of humor "drier than the Sahara." Full of awkward moments, the anti-comedian alter ego of Gregg Turkington (who did, in fact, live in Tempe for some time) comes up with awful one-liners that make fun of celebrity personalities at every opportunity. His distinctly old-man mannerisms -- clearing his throat incessantly and drinking like a fish, in combination with his over greased comb-over and horribly cheesy tuxes -- make him either hysterical or just plain pathetic. You either love him or you hate him. Or better yet, you love to hate him.

Moments before last Saturday's show at Yucca Tap Room, Hamburger took a few moments to lure New Times into Yucca's storage room to discuss his preferred cocktails, cornbread, and advice for the youth of Tempe.

Catch a video recording of the interview after the jump.
