Club Candids: Wanda Jackson at the Rhythm Room
It's not often you get to see a rock n roll legend perform, period; so the fact that Wanda Jackson, the "Queen of Rockabilly" and 2009 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, played an intimate venue like the Rhythm Room last night is nothing short of amazing (you can read the show review here).

Thankfully the crowd was aware of this, and--with the exception of one belligerent drunk who kept trying to touch her--showed Jackson the reverence she deserves by singing along to every song, dressing to the nines (which you can see in our slide show) and dancing up a storm to music that, for many, was from their parents' era.
