Check Out the Schedule For Tomorrow's Shizzfest 2

Categories: Announcements
Peachcake is scheduled to perform at 9 p.m. on Saturday inside the Trunk Space.
It's probably not the wisest move in the world to publically disagree with one's supervisor (hence that old chestnut, "Don't cross the boss"), but, hey, sometimes you gotta live dangerously.

By now you've probably read music editor Martin Cizmar's contentious column from this week's issue regarding his opinion that "CenPho's Music Scene is So Over" with the impending change to Modified Arts later this year and the opening of Rodney Hu's 23 West venue.

Like many others who've spoken out since the column was published on Wednesday afternoon, I've got something of a differing opinion on the matter. Despite the blow that the loss of Modified as a major music venue will cause, I believe downtown Phoenix's music scene to be alive and well. As evidence, look at the stacked lineup for tomorrow's Shizzfest 2.

As I pointed out in this week's paper, the followup to the original Shizzfest this past spring is gonna be way more ginormous than its predcesor, with more than 20 bands across three stages at the Trunk Space.

If you're curious to see who's playing when, check out the full schedule following the jump.
