Coe Cancels at Last Exit, Refunds Forthcoming?

• <p>I bought 2 tickets for the show and got no refund! Then I heard the bar closed down. </p>

• <p>Matt,</p> <p>Yeah, I was aware of those songs. I was actually speaking to Coe's cancellation and the fact that refunds haven't been given.</p> <p>But those songs...I guess they warrant a sarcastic "classy," too.</p>

• <p>Jason,</p> <p>what Andrew is referring to is the David Allen Coe Nothing Sacred and Underground albums, which Coe defends the blatant racism as a "joke" that was intended for "fans only". With songs like "Nigger Fucker" it makes you wonder how serious the joke is for one to make the joke so concrete and tangiable. </p>
