If you don't, mark it right now for our Best of Phoenix Wonderland art show, will ya?
So now that you've got your Friday all figured out, here's a little something for Saturday:
It's a celebration of SMoCA's three fall season exhibition followed by a SMoCA Nights after-hours party.
Then head to the museum for a public opening reception of the three exhibitions (the aforementioned southwestNET, Nick Cave: Meet Me at the Center of the Earth and Unexpected Wegman). Not only will the panel artists be there, but so will artist Nick Cave.
9 p.m. is when the party really starts outside with DJ Brazilia spinning some sweet, sweet sounds and a local fashion designer runway competition. Watch ten semi-finalists walk their best garments down the runway for the grand prize of a solo fashion show on Southbridge Runway Scottsdale Fashion Week on November 6th.
The artist panel discussion and opening are free and tickets to SMoCA Nights is $15 as usual.
