Wayne "The Train" Hancock Will Plow Through The Rhythm Room Sunday
Get ready to break out the bathtub moonshine and dance with your cousins (metaphorically speaking, of course) because "The Master of Hillbilly Swing" is hoping to knock your socks off at the Rhythm Room this Sunday.
He's been compared to all three Hank Williamses, even recording a live duet of his song "Juke Joint Jumpin'" with Hank Williams The Third:
According to his website, Wayne Hancock is a walking musical contradiction: "Steeped in traditional but never 'retro'; bare bones but bone shaking; hardcore but with a swing."
A natural performer, Hancock started writing music at the age of 12 and won the "Wrangler County Showdown" talent show when he was 18; just before being shipped off to serve four years with The Marines.
If you're itching to enjoy a little good ol' fashion Swing with a modern edge, skedaddle on down to The Rhythm Room Sunday.
