Just Announced: Toby Keith, George Thorogood, Blondie, Yes

This week's show announcements have a little of everything, including two of the finest purveyors of good ol' boy drinking music you'll find: George Thorogood and the Destroyers are set to play Celebrity at the end of July, Toby Keith comes to town in August. Surprisingly, even considering the desparity in venue size, Keith's show, is a much better bargain: $25 for lawn seats compared to $55 for the cheapest tickets to Thorogood.

Thorogood has always seemed like Delaware's harder-partying answer to Jersey's Springsteen to me, ("One Burbon, One Scotch, One Beer," "I Drink Alone") but I'm sure that comparison would offend lots of die-hard Bruce fans. Keith, who is ventuiring in to Jimmy Buffet territory with his new Mesa restaurant "I Love This Bar & Grill," wrote the definitive drinking song of the decade (see above).
