Okkervil River and Roger Miret are about as disparate musically as you can get.

What they do have in common, however, is that both Okkervil River and Miret will be putting on concerts tomorrow night in Tempe that are absolutely free of charge.
Okkervil River will perform on Hassayampa Lawn, which is located on the campus of Arizona State University near Apache Boulevard and McAllister Avenue. The show is being put on by ASU's Programming and Activities Board and starts at 7 p.m. with music from openers Underwater Getdown and Austin Gibbs.
A few miles away, Miret and his crew will be at Yucca Tap Room, 29 West Southern Avenue, for the evening. The punks and psychobillies of Grave Danger, Belfry Bats, The Impossible Ones, and Bricktop provide support. Yucca's MySpace reveals the gig starts at 8 p.m., but their bartender says music usually begins around 10 p.m. Plan on showing up early just in case.
