Neutral Milk Hotel Needs Your Help

Yes, Neutral Milk Hotel, the Louisiana-bred indie act that's been broken up for a decade, has dispatched an e-mail asking for help. And, since I'm something of an Elephant 6 fan boy, I immediately made a mental pledge to assist in any way I could.

Turns out I'll be voting to save some carousel horses in Massachusetts from the proverbial glue factory. The Paragon, an 81-year-old seaside kiddie ride near Boston, is apparently gorgeous and apparently in dire need of the $100,000 they'll get from winning some contest run by Partners in Preservation. I have no idea what the connection is here, but for the band that wrote "Holland, 1945" I'll do it.
