Emperors of Japan: Your Flier of the Week Contest Winner
A couple weeks back I wrote a long diatribe about the lost art of the concert poster and challenged you to come up with something that would blow us all away — with the winner getting me to show up at the advertised concert, regardless of its musical merit. Then, to remind you of the contest, I pointed out one local flier I wasn't fond of, stirring the ire of some readers.

Love it. I’m actually going to have to welsh on my part of the bargain, since I’ll be covering an event in Mexico next Saturday, but I’ve told Emperor Tony Poer that I’ll go to his band’s next show in town (though this is the last one until after the new year) or whatever other show he wants me to go to.
