Twenty-six-year-old local culinary guru Gabriele Bertaccini is the Florence-bred chef, charming host, and passionate businessman behind Culinary Mischief, a once a month underground dinner party adventure, marking a Phoenix first for bridge-gaping dining events around town.

Bertaccini's "Mischief" has been around for almost three years. He says that he hopes the event continues to bring people together by introducing new flavors, new spaces, new faces, and new fun into the lives of "in-the-know" local folk who seek the kind of mind-opening, memory making experiences that Bertaccini lives for.

Six courses, six wines, thirty hand-selected guests, and one unique location. Oh yeah, and onehelluva awesome local memory.

A Night Out w/ George Koopman of Tuesday Trolley

George Koopman is the cool and collected cat behind local limousine party bus/van transportation services, The Vig Rig and Tuesday Trolley. As The Valley's most reputable designated driver, Koopman knows how to show people a good time and keep them safe while doing it.

With The Vig Rig in its fourth year of running -- a complimentary van service that picks you up from home, drops you at The Vig Arcadia and a Scottsdale club/bar of your choice, then swoops you up and delivers you right back home (yes, for free) -- Tuesday Trolley is Koopman's most recent, a sweet party bus that's been rockin' up and down Indian School Road for a little over two years-- $3 to ride and $3 drinks at each of the four bars on The Trolley's itinerary.

Don't worry, we're smacking ourselves for not knowing about this rad deal sooner, too.

McCall and right-hand man Aaron Lockert
Braden McCall is a full-time architecture student, dedicated local music mastermind, and part-time party enthusiast.

Known mostly for his prior involvements in a few different local bands, the 29-year-old currently spends the majority of his time buried in school books, tutoring other architecture students, and working on his newest music brainchild, Dead Wildlife, which is still in its beginning stages but has recently been commission to develop the jingle for a popular iPhone application.

Yes, after all of this he still finds time to hang out with his closest friends, frequent Phoenix hot spots, and have an overall rockin' time.

28-year-old Stephen Chilton (aka "Psyko Steve") is the Valley's veteran concert promoter. After 11 years of experience in the concert promoting game, Chilton's name (and rockin' mustache) have become synonymous with the Phoenix music scene.

As a Phoenix native, Chilton has not only watched a place like downtown Phoenix develop, he's helped inspire it-- through kick ass rock show, after kick ass rock show.

We caught up with Chilton on our most recent wingman venture. Read on, after the jump.

Tiffany Egbert is a local designer, photographer, and owner of online vintage clothing store, Kitten Paws Vintage

At 26 years old, Egbert hasn't wasted any time in the creativity department; she uses her keen eye for unique style, savvy social media maneuvering, and talent behind the camera lens to naturally make a name for herself around The Valley.

Her reputation for being the adorable girl with the awesome flower headband, cute shoes and killer dance moves, well, just comes along with the Miss Tiffany territory.

We caught up with Egbert on our most recent Wingman venture. Read on about our Friday night out on the town, after the jump.

A Night out w/ Jason Ayers

Jason Ayers is a local artist, graphic designer, and computer programmer. But owning a web/mobile application business and organizing the local installments of Pecha-Kucha are just a few of Ayers daytime duties.

By night, Ayers, or DJ Deep Freq, is a Valley veteran in the nightlife scene. He was one of the first of local promoters to initiate weekly underground dance nights in the early 2000s and pioneered events including Freedom and Kind Fridays, as well as more recent swinging after hours parties including The Q and The Official.

After a lengthy five year hiatus from his house music nightlife arsenal, Ayers returned and brought his drum and bass night, SubConcious, to the downstairs area of Bar Smith, on Wednesday nights.

Read on about our most recent Wingman adventure with Ayers, after the jump.

Sean Watson is a veteran local DJ, dance party initiator, and all-around lovable lad. As one of the Valley's most reputable DJs, Watson doesn't just know how to get a party started with the jams he spins; his animated enthusiasm, fun-loving energy, and down-right contagious laugh is known to infect a room with high energy.

His weekly residencies are all over town, including gigs at The Vig, Tuesday night's at Merc Bar, and a new Saturday night at Crescent Ballroom called "Kismet". This Sunday, Sean will be heading to Tucson to DJ, Dia De Los Muertos: All Souls Procession Grand Finale.

We caught up with Watson on Halloween night at Crescent Ballroom for our most recent Wingman adventure. Read on after the jump...

A Wednesday Night w/ Juan Carlos Lenz

You might know Juan Carlos Lenz as "JC," or by his reputable DJ handle, BC/AD, and you'll definitely recognize him as an OG in The Valley's alternative nightlife scene. He's responsible for developing legendary DJ dance nights Party Foul and Ransom, he's helped to set the local standard for kick ass dance party debauchery, and he's also set the standard for what it means to be called a "hipster DJ".

That is, if a hipster DJ translates to being a lovable, Texas-bred gent who knows how to rock a belt buckle and trouble shoot a mac, just as well as he knows how to spin a wide-range of dance-inducing jams.

We caught up with Lenz for our most recent Wingman venture in Downtown Phoenix. Read on, after the jump.

A Tuesday Night w/ Monique Suede Wallis

Categories: Wingman

Monique Suede Wallis is a local promoter with a whole lot of chutzpah. Lets just say, being one of very few up and coming female promoters in Phoenix, takes some serious girl power-- and it's pretty clear this dynamic diva doesn't have a problem with that.

At 23 years old, Miss Wallis is fairly new to the promoting game but that doesn't mean she's any less capable than a veteran promoter to come up with a killer creative idea for a kick ass party in Downtown Phoenix.

Case in point, her new Tuesday night gig at Bar Smith called Memoriam, a bi-monthly event themed ironically but cleverly around a funeral for our favorite undead rock stars.

We caught up with Wallis last Tuesday at her third Memoriam event, which just so happened to be themed around favorite undead rock star, or better yet, undead diva of all divas, Madonna.

Aaron Hempsey is a local DJ with a hunger for underground house-music. After years of involvement in the alternative nightlife scene and recent DJ gigs at The Valley's most reputable indie dance nights like Cheap Thrills, Solstice, and Sticky Fingers, Hempsey or "Aaron F" is taking matters into his own hands with an event he and a few of his close DJ friends are launching called Rebel Disco.

(Note: Rebel Disco will take place this Saturday, the 17th, at Brick in Downtown Phoenix and feature NYC Big-Wig, Jacques Renault.)

The event is a step toward what Hempsey hopes to see more of in the local DJ scene-- more quality, originality and international talent ... oh, and more bikinis.

We caught up with Hempsey on our latest wingman venture in Downtown Phoenix. Read on, after the jump ...
