​There are just a few more hours until you can kick back and call it a weekend. And if you're looking for adventure (not that you'll remember it tomorrow), we have a few killer concoctions that should get the night going.

Shots are any bartender's excuse to mix a handful of ingredients, get creative (and shamelessly dirty) with a name, and charge a couple bucks to watch a few suckers take it in one gulp. There are plenty of shots to take in the Valley, but here are a few of our favorites:

Jamie Rivas, the girl behind the bar at Downtown's new music venue/super-chill hangout spot, The Lounge at Crescent Ballroom, has something she guarantees will kick start the dance party -- a Tongue in the Panties. A mix of Southern Comfort, vodka, amaretto, peach schnapps, OJ, pineapple juice, this concoction guarantees a hangover that's worth every minute.

​Justin Vargo at Shady's in Phoenix has a killer "house birthday shot," that breathes German liqueur. What does German booze and roadkill have in common? Uh, we had to ask (dun, dun, dun).

Name: Roadkill

Ingredients: Equal parts Jägermeister (translated literally as "hunt-master"), Barenjager (or "bear hunter"), and Goldschläger (just for good "Germanic umlaut" measure).

Flavor: Death, but a very sweet and cinnamon-honey one.

​Gina David is basically a bartending legend at the reputable rock 'n roll dive,The Rogue Bar in Scottsdale. And after this aptly titled, hot dog infused treat(?), Gina David and her shot will forever be ingrained in our minds, er mouths. David admits it's like a "dove shot" but not layered... and really disgusting. She also has a pug so, we'll leave the rest to you.

Name: The Pug Fart

Ingredients: Kahlua, Baileys, Crown Royal and one (cooked) hot dog. Yes, an actual weenie.

Flavor Let's just say, we now know what a Pug's fart tastes like. And surprisingly, we're not too mad at it.

​ Tyler Christensen at The Little Woody, the brand new "relentlessly unpretentious" tasteful neighborhood bar in Arcadia, created this pop shot to represent The Little Woody owl theme of the bar, and take us back to the "how many licks" tootsie pop commercial when we were kids.

Christensen says that being young, having fun and losing inhibitions is what a bar should be all about, and we couldn't agree more.

Name: The Tootsie Pop

Ingredients: 3 Olives Grape, Kahlua, grape pucker, and splash of OJ.

Flavor: A grape flavored Tootsie pop, complete with delicious inhibition losing properties.

​Justin Jensen at new Arcadia nano brewery hotspot, O.H.S.O, has created this fizzy concoction on the fly, and it might just be the best shot we've ever tasted. 

The Name: O.H.S.O Fizzy

The Ingredients: Orange vodka, St. Germain, pineapple juice, lemon juice, and Framboise beer.

The Flavor: an ohso fizzy raspberry flavored buzz-enhancer

​Chris Lingua at Kazimierz World Wine Bar in Old Town Scottsdale says this little 
beauty is official-- the official house shot, that is-- keeping the vibe in the Kaz Bar house stylish, smooth, and super sexy.

Name: The Nikolashka

Ingredients: Equal parts Presidente Brandy and Kruskovac pear liqueur with a sugared lime wheel on top. (Note: For best results bite into lime first and hold in mouth while shooting).

Flavor: warm subtle sweetness with a acidic citrus kick to balance it all out.

Sports-loving weirdo or not, this little number is known to turn your frown -- er, something -- in the upright direction.

Ingredients: Tuaca Vanilla Citrus Liqueur and pineapple juice

Flavor: A surge of masculine fruit flavors with a very BIG bite.
