Just Blaze: Street Art Supplies, Apparel and Gallery Now up in Phoenix

Had it not been for the graffiti-ed plastic chairs by the door, we might have skipped over Just Blaze, which opened its doors on Saturday (now it just needs a bigger sign).

Just Blaze was located on McDowell Road in Phoenix, but took over the building on the corner of Camelback Road and Tenth Street when the upscale clothing store moved out. The space is huge and employees say the store will be working on filling its walls and racks with art supplies, artwork, apparel and head shop gear in the next few months.

Check out what we'd take, what we'd leave and why we'd go back after the jump...

We've seen this wheatpaste up in a few spots downtown ... this latest one up on the corner of Seventh and Pierce streets, where the 7th Street Cafe sign used to be (picture after the jump). More »
