Lustre heats up for the Fourth of July.
We're already gathered up your best bets for Fourth of July pool parties, what shows to catch this First Friday, and where to ooh and aaah over fireworks this holiday weekend. From a birthday bash for Frida Kahlo to a local filmmaker showcase, here's what else to mark on your calendars.

All American Independence Day Party

Time for some star-spangled cocktails and some tan line stripes. While the Hotel Palomar is celebrating a whopping 100 days of summer, it's giving special attention to number 47, also known as the Fourth of July. This All American Independence Party will feature specialty drinks with Tito's Handmade Vodka, grilled grub, a contest for the most patriotic outfit, beer pong, cornhole, table tennis, and a photo booth.
