Spectators of the World Cup in Rio de Janeiro can watch some of the games at Maracanã Stadium.

It's that time again, when soccer fans around the world crowd into pubs at every hour of the day to watch their teams battle it out in the World Cup. Some fans travel the world to attend the games, but many watch from the comfort of their local pub.

The World Cup kicks off on Thursday, June 12, with Croatia facing the host country Brazil at 1 p.m. Phoenix area hangouts are gearing up to give fans a place to watch all of the excitement.

Four Peaks Brewing Company

At both the Tempe and Scottsdale locations, Four Peaks will be showing every game live and with sound. For the 9 a.m. games, a breakfast menu will be offered, with the regular menu beginning at 11 a.m. Drink specials will include guest craft beers, specialty beer cocktails, and all-day happy hour prices on their current seasonal brew.

Tim Finnegan's Irish Pub

As the only official U.S. Soccer Bar in Arizona, Tim Finnegan's in North Phoenix is sure to please World Cup fans. The pub will be opening early and showing all of the games. In addition to drink specials that include $2.50 domestics and $3 imports, there will be a unique international menu with items based on the countries playing that day. Staff members from Arizona United SC will be there on some of the days to give away free promotional items and meet with fans, including during the U.S. versus Germany match on Thursday, June 26.

Rosie McCaffrey's Irish Pub & Restaurant

With soccer memorabilia covering the walls and an owner and staff who love the game, Rosie McCaffrey's is one of the best spots in Phoenix to watch the World Cup. During the regular season, Rosie McCaffrey's cheers on the Glasgow Celtic as the official Arizona headquarters for the Bobby Murdoch Celtic Supporters Club. Recently the pub became a member of the U.S. Soccer Supporters Club. They will open every day at 8:30 a.m. to show every game -- in addition to offering breakfast and drink specials.

R. T. O'Sullivan's Sports Grill

The sports bar will be showing all of the U.S. games and offering specials at both of its Mesa locations. On June 16, 23, 24, and 26 they will open at 9 a.m. and have breakfast options available. Non-U.S. games will also be shown during regular hours, and their lunch menu will be offered.

RnR

The Scottsdale gastropub will be showing all of the games on its 25 flat-screen TVs and projector screen. They will open at 9 a.m. Monday through Friday and at 8 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Brunch will be available until 11 a.m., and then the regular menu will be offered.
