Heard about that whole lime shortage that's been going on recently? No doubt you already have, especially if you've had to dole out a few more dollars for that margarita lately.

With Cinco de Mayo weekend kicking off, it makes you wonder if it's worth it to check out any of the muchas fiestas happening around metro Phoenix today through Monday, May 5, since you'll paying more green to have a few slices of the green fruit to complement your cerveza or tequila.

El Hefe

The party monsters at both the Tempe and Scottsdale locations of El Hefe will go wild out for two days and nights during their "Cinco de Hefe" block parties on Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4. Expect all the hallmarks of a crazy El Hefe rager (confetti, sombreros, inflatable zebras, sexy drink-slingers atop the bar), as well as multiple DJs performing and the Floyd "Money" Mayweather versus Marcos Maidana pay-per-view playing on every TV on Saturday. Doors open at 11 a.m. each day. Admission is free.

why are those jueras wearing sombreros and appropriating the mexican culture? do they not know that this is insensitive and racist? or do they just not care? Only one of them is swarthy enough to get a mexican pass, the others should be ashamed of themselves.

To quote a recent article from Phoenix New Times, looks like these sites will be filled with "Basic Bitches" galore (particularly 'Woo Woo' girls), so thank you for publishing what is essentially a "stay away at all costs" list.

Just no, I hate when people ask me why I don't participate that holiday. First it's a holiday for a region in Mexico, second I'm not Mexican yes I am Hispanic and my parents are from another part of Latin America where it's not even a holiday. It drives me crazy

Cinco de Drinko. They don't even celebrate this in Mexico. Just another excuse for ASU kids to get drunk, as if they needed an excuse to act like jackasses.
