Because you never know when you might buy the winning lotto ticket or strike oil in your own backyard, Jackalope Ranch has put together a list of the five most expensive neighborhoods in metro Phoenix. To assemble this list of costly communities, we looked at neighborhoods with the highest average price of listed homes. Not surprisingly, the majority of high-dollar homes resided in the Scottsdale and Paradise Valley areas.

Someone unknowledgeable wrote this.  Clearwater Hills is unincorporated Maricopa County island in the north mountain preserve between Paradise Valley and Phoenix. NOT between PV and Scottsdale. Morning Glory & Vilarisa are BOTH in Paradise Valley. Morning Glory might have 4 homes. Hardly a neighborhood.

This is a horribly inaccurate article. As for the framer unhappy to be working in Silverleaf, I'm sure someone else would be willing to take your job. Most residents of Silverleaf are winter visitors.

I would use my lottery money to get a way from rich ass holes. not move in with them.

Sorry! If I win the lottery, I would not be dealing with awful summers anymore. I'd be living by the beach!

Some gorgeous properties, whether it is one's style or not. Too bad there is so much hate on this thread. Jackasses can be found everywhere, and from the likes of the comments on this thread, apparently outside of Scottsdale. And no, I do not reside in Scottsdale. However, I have many decent, hardworking friends that do and do not match the descriptions of snobbery and greed.

Nope, you can come looking for me in Santa Barbara, CA, that is after spending some big coin to help out some of my friends in the music biz. :)

I want my own land and farm at least in driving distance to the next house, forget these stuck up looking places.

I'd buy a house in a cheaper neighborhood less likely to have scorpions and then bequeathe it to a community land trust. Because that's how I roll.

Hahahaha. You actually think I'd stay in Arizona if I won. Hahahahaha! Too funny...

There are so many of these mega million dollar homes, here and every where! Who lives in them and what do they do for a living? Anyone single? :)

Of course, all in Scottsdale. 7 figures or not, no way in hell I would ever live in that den of greed and snobbery.

I wouldn't live in scottsdale if I had a billion dollars. Mostly because I'm not a self righteous douche bag.

NOPE. If I had that kind of money, I would buy a cheaper house and use the rest to help people.

If I had that kind of money to spend, I'd buy a million dollar home here (for winter), a million dollar home in Colorado (for summer) and save or donate the rest. Still...fun to check out these mansions :)

I would move back to iowa and take my folks with me. I spent 4years there and miss it now that i have been away.

Exactly. If I had the means to drop 7 figures on a house, I'd be dropping it on a house NOT in Arizona

I don't think so. We'd be out of AZ in a flash!

Technically speaking, Clearwater Hills has a Paradise Valley address. The HOA office is in Scottsdale. And no, it's not on the Border of PV - Scottsdale. Not even close to it. Thanks for trying though. Better luck next time.
