Looking to save some cash this spring break? It's not as hard as you might think. Between watching movies on the green and finding out how you can make some green as an artist, this week's free events are sure to give you plenty of bang for no bucks.

Creative Capital Presentation

ASU Art Museum, Roosevelt Row, and Phoenix Center for the Arts have teamed up to bring the downtown community an informative talk about the opportunities and support available to artists through the Creative Capital Foundation, a nonprofit organization that offers funding, counseling, and career development services to artists throughout the country. The presentation, which will be led by Creative Capital founder and executive director Ruby Lerner, runs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 10, at Phoenix Center for the Arts. After Tiller Screening

Stop by Burton Barr Central Library at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, for a free screening of the documentary, After Tiller, presented by the Phoenix Objectivists. Following the 2009 murder of Dr. George Tiller, this film takes an in-depth look and lives, dangers, and controversy surrounding the remaining few doctors who openly preform third trimester abortions. Spring Movies in the Park: Singin' in the Rain

Every Friday through April 25, Biltmore Fashion Park hosts a complimentary series of films including the 1952 musical classic, Singin' in the Rain, starring Gene Kelley, Debbie Reynolds, and Donald O'Connor.
